        Presentation of the first report on Canada’s Ethnic Media

The National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada in cooperation with Seneca College and Toronto Dominion Bank, presenting the first even report on the importance of  Canada’s ethnic, community based media.
According to report ethnic or third language media play pivotal role in connecting Canada’s immigrant and visible minorities to their communities?
The report was compiled based on results from a survey of the members of the NEPMCC, partially funded by Canadian Heritage. The data were analyzed by Professor Dr. Gabriel Huston of the Faculty of International Business, Seneca College.
The report was published thanks to financial support of the Toronto Dominion Financial Group and is to be released on Monday November 19, 2012.
The presentation of the report is taking place at 66 Wellington Street, 54th floor, Toronto On, during a reception organized by the TD Bank.
Members of the academia, politicians, public affairs and media relations as well as members of the ethnic media and press will be in attendance.
